About Lucky Panda Chinese Restaurant
Just Good Food!
Lucky Panda Chinese Restaurant is a chinese restaurant in Aurora, Illinois. It is listed at 2400 S Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60503, which places it among the local businesses of Aurora that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as delivery restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Aurora; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Illinois are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (630) 898-9360. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, luckypandaonline.com.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 466 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Aurora is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Aurora follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I started eating at this restaurant over 10 years ago, but unfortunately, today was my third disappointing experience in a row, and Iβve decided it will be my last visit. In my opinion, the quality has not been the same since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Todayβs meal was so disappointing that I threw it away. The fried rice tasted like it had been reheated from old rice, while the Mongolian dish seemed freshly cooked but was made with vegetables that did not taste fresh. After being a loyal customer for more than a decade, this is truly disappointing. I hope the restaurant returns to the quality it was once known for, but I wonβt be returning.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences Iβve had. The atmosphere felt very odd for a Chinese restaurant, with hip hop music playing and casino machines taking up an entire side of the dining area. Water was served in Solo cups, and while they have plenty of seating, it does not operate like a sit-down restaurant. You order at the counter, sit down, and then everything is served like takeout with paper plates. It seems like most of their business is takeout, which might explain the setup, but even then, the experience was disappointing. They also do not accept Apple Pay, only physical credit cards or cash, which is inconvenient. The service was not very friendly either. We ordered the satay chicken and pad kee mow, and unfortunately the food was so bad that we could only take a few bites. We really do not like wasting food, but we ended up throwing most of it away. I honestly do not understand how this place is still in business. This might be the worst restaurant Iβve been to, and I would not recommend it π

The food itself was 5/5, but Iβm giving this place 3 stars because the packaging was terrible. The food was put in a paper bag faced sideways and the sauce leaked out all over. Iβd recommend better packaging where the food is not sideways. As you can see, I had to put lots of napkins down as it got on the tablecloth and was a mess.

I am still craving for their tomato, peppers and beef dish and chicken fried rice dinner. So good! It was enough for 2 days. I will be back when Iβm in town. β’ Carry out, delivery, and dine-in available β’ Clean dining area β’ Fast service β’ Area for gambling available private from the dining area. β’ Parking available β’ Nice staff I recommend it.
Get it right, or go home. 7 months ago
This place is usually my to go to. But today. Either they changed the beef in the beef fried rice or they just under cooked it. I did call and complain. Was told to bring it back. But the way my work schedule is. But hey I'll save it and take it back and see then. See for yourself.
